Yesterday I stumbled across a blog post from wishwishwish.net and the lovely Carrie. I was browsing through some of her older blog posts from January and I came across a very simple tutorial showing how to create the classic Beehive look. Well I thought I'd have a go at it this morning and to be fair, I don't think I've done a bad job.
Excuse the River Island top, I've got work in a bit and thought I best put the top on before I do my hair as I would definitely struggle to get the top over my head without ruining it all. I think the process took me all of 10 minutes to complete and it's saved my hair from being straightened which is always handy! I used Umberto Galliano's Back Comb in a Bottle as well as actually back combing my hair to get some volume and then used Pantene Ice Shine hairspray to hold it all in place. For the video tutorial on Carrie's blog, click here.
I'd definitely recommend trying it out. If I can do it, anyone can!

Omg I loveeee this hairstyle, definitely giving it a go!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog. The extensions were from Rapunzel Rapunzel, I think they were about £70 but there are cheaper ones on there too. I got them after watching this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gufhMJMwAdA&feature=relmfu
I'm sure you'd be able to match your hair colour! The extensions are real hair and coloured really naturally, I'd totally recommend getting some I love mine. Plus if you curl with your real hair you can't really notice a colour difference if it's only slight.
Your blog is lovely, I'm following now :) do you have twitter?
