Outfit O'Clock #63 - Somebody that I used to know.

Blouse - Romwe (Bought before Xmas)
Jeans - Warehouse £15 (Sale)
Belt - Vintage Karen Millen £4
Satchel - Cow Vintage £8
Rings - Primark & Forever 21

Hello lovelies! How's it going? Today I've been in Uni all day (hence the later post) meeting with my group to sort out our online health magazine.. Pretty standard day really. I decided to wear this blouse which I've been umming and ahhing about since I purchased it before Christmas from Romwe. When I first received it I didn't really know if I'd like it however now I have realised that I really love it. It's different to what you see in most shops nowadays and I really like the cream buttons on it. The blouse is actually navy but due to lack of light you can't really tell very well.

Tonight I'm off to have my nails done - I've had acrylics for the past year now and I'm going to see about having the acrylics taken off so I can start growing my actual nails. Unfortunately my nails have always been pretty rubbish and brittle so after a year of acrylics I don't hold much hope for the health of them but hey.

And I think that's it! Tomorrow I'm planning on taking a trip up to Manc to see the boyf. And will spend the weekend up there with him and get some more uni work done. I find that I'm less distracted when I'm at his as he cracks on with his work so I'm likely to get mine done too! Productive weekend here we come! Have you guys got any good plans for the weekend? It is Wednesday after all, so we're nearly there :P

  3. I cant bring myself get rid of my acrylics, but at £15 for in-fills every 3-4 weeks it's an expensive taste!! my own nails grow quickly but they're weak so break all the time! I used sally hanson miracle something or other the one time I did have them off for a few months, and I reckon it did help!
ALSO.... the blouse is gorgeous, the collar is so unique!

    1. Same here. I'm looking at having a shellac treatment on them when I next go which means they take off my acrylics and coat my nails in a polish which is meant to be good for your nails and doesn't chip for 2-3 weeks. My nails really need to breathe coz they've been 'acrylicked' (my new word haha) for the past year and I can see that they're pretty bad and need a chance to repair themselves. I've used Sally Hanson stuff before and it's helped strengthen my nails so will get that and try it as a top coat on top of the shellac stuff.

  7. Nice outfit! Also I've noticed you live in Birmingham as you are doing a degree. I have got into Birmingham uni too and will definitely be going there (if I get the grades) but I just want to know what you think of the actual city. The nightlife, the shopping, is it generally a nice safe city!? I used to live in London so what is it like in comparison?

    1. Hi :)
I did live in Birmingham last year and the year before. Because I'm in my final year I'm only in once a week so thought it was best (and cheaper) to move home and commute. Birmingham is pretty busy, there's always places to go and things to do. Great for shopping and clubbing. Safety wise I have never had any problems in Brum city centre. My uni campus is at Perry Barr which is not that safe and I was victim to an attempted mugging there but it's not really in Birmingham so you should be fine. Just stick to where there's lots of people and don't go anywhere on your own. The same as you would do in London I guess! If you want you can check out http://www.facebook.com/UltimateStudentSurvivalGuide which is a survival guide made by students on my course for new students coming to brum. It might help you out :) xx
