So this is Preen, a clothing label by Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi (pictured below, aren't they just the cutest designer couple?). The images above are from Preen's SS12 collection. You can see the full collection here.

I first spotted Preen in Elle magazine back in January, can't say as I had heard about it before then (much to my dismay). The first thing that caught my eye with this collection, much like with Meadham Kirchhoff's Spring collection, was the large selection of bright, colourful items of clothing available. The plethora of prints and shapes that filled the catwalk didn't go unnoticed either. The second part which made my heart do tiny little flips was the whole pixelated, square print effect that has made an appearance on the first few items. It's a bit like a Dulux colour chart, but I quite like it!

Other aspects of the Preen collection which push my buttons include - crop tops, 3/4 length sleeves, cinched in waists, knee length pencil skirts, a distinct lack of collars on shirts, dresses, tops, etc (a refreshing change from a year full of buttoned up shirts and peter pan collars, don't you think?).

And that's pretty much all I wanted to share with you on Preen 2012. What do you guys think? Like them?
