HOWDY DOODY PARTNER,

Today I wore this :) the sun was out and I figured I'd make the most of it. Obviously I wasn't brave enough to wear a dress or skirt but the top is pretty 'skimpy' (as my mother says). It's a pretty basic outfit, I'm not one for accessorising stuff up to the max and because of the detail in the top I felt that I could just get away with the bare minimums.

The top has a peplum detail around the bottom of it however I tucked it into my jeans as it looked more flattering. The problem with peplum is that if you have hips and a backside, it can draw unwanted attention to that area haha.. not ideal! Speaking of peplum, what do you guys think of the peplum craze that's hitting the high street? I'm not 100% sure of it, however I do love this top from ASOS. (I've just said peplum 4 times in one paragraph, jeeeez! Make that five times..)

I had a plethora of good news today so I'm pretty chirpy! Been building a website for my old next door neighbour and taking plenty of breaks to go and have a cuppa in the back garden. I mean, c'mon it's sunny! Tomorrow I don't have plans however I want to go out in the evening as I've been stuck in all week and I need to get out of the house. Need a cheap night though cause funds are LOW.

Hope you're all well and dandy and enjoying the sunshine. The forecast for this weekend is looking good so I expect to see lots of super summery outfits floating around the blogosphere ;)

Loves xxx

  4. I think that trend is for girls with zero waist or hips. I can't say I know that many of them! I have enough hips that I should share it out to the public as a service rather than girls having to invent hips with this trend. x

  7. oo y'know, silly as it may sound, i've never thought to tuck in the peplum part of a top before! i don't think they suit me at all, i've often been put off buying a pretty top because of it's peplumness (ha!) x
