Outfit O'Clock #75 - The sun has got his hat on

Ok so this is an instagram heavy blog post as I forgot to take my camera out with me this weekend which meant I had to use my phone. DOH! The outfit is a little different to my usual outfit pics as it's more suited to evening dress however you could easily transform it into daywear with a vest top and flats.

I wore these paisley print shorts from Style Piques as it had been a lovely day and I felt the urge to dress summery for my night out. The shorts are made out of a silky material and are really light and comfy to wear - a complete bargain for £18! I have to say I'm a massive fan of the unusual pattern and the yellow, blue and green colours which are featured in the print. Because the bottom half was so print heavy I wore a plain, turquoise tee from Primark which cost me like £3. The shoes I wore (tanned heels) were £15 in the River Island sale last year which means all together my outfit cost about £30. BARGAIN. Lisa (who always dresses amazingly) is wearing a pineapple print shirt from River Island and the very popular, but equally expensive, disco shorts from American Apparel.

We went out in Shrewsbury for a change which was nice - for anyone who goes out in Shrewsbury we went to Monty's and then C21. Was a good laugh! Our friend Sophie also came and she wore her brand new JC Litas. I definitely want a pair now that I've seen them in real life as they are gorgeous and apparently they're pretty comfy too.

My giveaway ends this week (31st March at Midnight) so if you want to be in for a chance to win a lovely cat print shirt from Sugar Lips then enter here :)
Fingers crossed I will be able to announce the winner on the 1st April. Good luck to those who have entered!

  2. I love those shorts too! I'm not usually a fan of heavily printed things like that, but the way you wear them makes them look understated almost, very nice! (: x
