Boohoo SS13 Collection - A Monochrome & Pastel Party

Monochrome & Prints

The simple black and white palette of the boutique trend Mono Luxe makes way for clashing prints, textured fabrics, sequins and statement fastenings. Silhouettes vary between androgynous tailoring and overtly girly sheer separates, complementing each other to create the ultimate capsule collection.

Candy Colours & Floral Prints

Iridescent florals, iconic trophy jackets and sorbet shades define the boutique Candy Crush collection, an update on the classic femininity of the 1950’s and 60’s. Expect exaggerated separates, prom dresses and heavy embellishment, plus jewelled finishes that add the final dash of premium elegance to this characteristically ladylike trend. My fav <3

I'm really loving the Boohoo Boutique SS13 collection which is now available online. There are plenty of feminine shapes (particularly in the form of cute 50s style skirts) and candy colours on display, as well as a range of items portraying the epic monochrome trend which is sure to be a hit this season.

The thing I like about the Boutique collection is that, although the clothes are a little more expensive, the items look unique and it would appear that a lot of time and thought has gone into the creation of them. I don't know about you, but I like wearing stuff that looks like it's been well constructed and designed.

The new accessory bundle which has also hit the online store is gorgeous. I'm really loving the fluorescent pink and yellow accessories - the love heart bag is also a personal fav! I've not yet purchased anything from the Boohoo Boutique collection and I'm thinking that this might just be the season to do so. Have any of you guys purchased specifically from the Boutique collection? What's the quality of the clothing like? Would you recommend?

In other news I've got a new blog banner!! WOOPA. The very lovely Harriet Gray designed this bad boy for me and I'm chuffed to bits with it. She's a very talented lass and does all sorts of funky stuff including personal commissions, blog illustrations, pet portrait things and more! It's not the first time Harriet's been mentioned on my blog as I received one of the cat print iPad cases that she makes (this case to be precise) for Christmas this year. It probably won't be the last time you hear about her either... I'd defo suggest you guys check out her Etsy shop as there are some beautiful phone/iPad cases, cat tattoos, cushion covers etc :)

This week has been super busy which is kind of why I haven't blogged much - I graduated, my boyfriend took me on a spa break to Chester and now it's nearly Friday. How time flies! Hope you're all having a super Valentine's Day and fingers crossed I'll get some outfit posts done this weekend as it's been a while! xxx
