Hey little sausages. How's it going?

Today I had my hair done and it was reet exciting. I went to Toni & Guy which is my usual choice of hairdressers as they know what I like and even though they're a tad on the expensive side I prefer to feel safe in the knowledge that my hair isn't going to look rubbish at the end of it all. Plus they made me two cups of tea, can't complain about that! I had a few highlights put in as well as a mop chop and a fringe tidy. Overall it was a mahusive success! Hoorah, well done Toni & Guy. Round of applause!

In other news I went a bit CRAY earlier in Superdrug. I purchased a new foundation as well as some concealer, primer, a tinted highlighter thing, mascara and liquid eyeliner. SHEESH. But it was all stuff I needed to buy as I've had a bit of a makeup drawer clear out! Spring cleaning and all that jazz. I thought I'd give the new Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation a go as my Clinique Superbalanced Foundation just isn't cutting the mustard these days. My skin seems to have gotten used to it and is back to it's boring, dull, dry self regardless of how much moisturiser I lather on. So I'm going to give the Rimmel Wake Me Up stuff a go and fingers crossed it works some magic on my little smurf face!

Have you ever used Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation? What did you think?

I've heard some good things about the Wake Me Up range from other bloggers so I'm excited to give it a go (plus Rimmel products are on 3 for 2 at the mo in Superdrug!) I also purchased the matching Wake Me Up concealer and Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch, so will let you know how I get on with these. Eyeliner-wise I stuck with my trusted favourite for the past however long. Collection 2000 'Fast Stroke' Liquid Eyeliner is amazing as it always stays put, it's just £2.99 and the brush is super easy to create nice flicks with. It's super duper I tell you. I also purchased Rimmel Fix & Protect Primer and some Bourjois Volume Glamorous 'Ultra Care' mascara which is for sensitive eyes. Yayyyy. I figured that because I'm always wearing contact lenses I should go easy on the eyes with some nice, kind products. Aren't I good?!

And that's about all from me today. Rambling on like a pro.
Take it easy folks! xxx

  1. My hot cheddary goodness, what a cracker! The hair looks fandabbydosy! Bloody love the skirt too.

I use an odd concoction of Wake Me Up and the Collection concealer these days as I'm a mega pasty lady and the lightest Wake Me Up is too dark for me haha! Works well! Lasts quite a long time and has a good finish - I just like to powder it a little!

  2. Your hair is amaaazing and your style is right up my street - LOVE this outfit!!! xax

  3. That coat looks so cosy and warm! Love the shoes too. Would be interested to hear how you get on with the Wake Me Up range, I'm planning on doing a make-up 'summer' clean when I finish uni!

  9. This is such a perfect outfit. Wish i could put clothes together so well. All i can manage is a white T and jeans :(

  10. This outfit is perfect!! You're so pretty too! I can't recommend the Wake Me Up range enough, their foundation and concealer are a staple part of my every-day makeup, probably one of my favourite foundations ever (including high end brands)! I think I'll have to give the Collection 2000 liquid liner a go, needing a new one and what a bonus if it's easy to apply!
