L to the B to the D

The Little Black Dress as worn by the likes of Posh Spice, Kate Moss, Angelina Jolie, Olivia Palermo and Alexa Chung... Every fashionista has one (or should have one). I've got one tucked away in the depths of my wardrobe for spesh occasions. But I was thinking the other day, is it time to get another? I mean, the LBD is all very well and good - but is just having one enough? I had a big think about it and came to the conclusion that if you're going to splurge on a LBD (whether it's a first time buy or not) then why not take inspo from vintage styles and buy a Little Black Dress that is timeless, classic and wouldn't look out of place on Audrey Hepperz herself. You know it makes sense...* have a rather marvellous selection of LBDs as well as other dresses for spesh occasions, meaning if your wardrobe is already overflowing with black and you need a bit of colour in your life then you can get your colour fix on the site too - sprucey! They're a site based in the UK and I was surprised that I'd never heard of them before last week - but there we go. Now they're well and truly on my radar. I like to find new sites especially ones that stock pretty dresses (and accessories) from brands including: Forever Unique, Lipstick Boutique, Origami Jewellery and Tatty Devine.
Happy days :')

The brand sent me a wee infographic to share with you guys about the history behind the LBD. From Coco Chanel to Betty Boop to Adele, there's a story behind every LBD...

  1. Can't beat a good LBD :) typically my favourite on your picture is the most expensive - it's just perfectly classy but the skirt being that bit shorter ensures it isn't *too* demure xx

  2. I couldn't agree more! I have one and you made me realize I need to buy at least another one!
