Boyfriend Fit Jeans £16, Yellow Jumper £12, Ankle Boots *Sold Out* £25, Sleeveless Biker Jacket £22 - F&F at Tesco* | Tassle Necklace - New Look | Leopard Print Belt - Primark
This outfit is definitely what I would describe as 'out of my comfort zone.' As someone who is renowned for her granny-chic style (or as the peeps at ASOS Fashion Finder very cleverly put it - 'nana cool' style) when it comes to boyfriend cut jeans I'm generally flummoxed!

Being a 5ft wonder, the jean situation in my wardrobe is a bit same old - and by this I mean - I wear skinnies and nothing else. I don't do boyfriend, bootcut, skinny flare, slouch or straight leg jeans. Skinny is my jean saviour (cause I can roll them under without nobody noticing) and that's how it's been for a loooooong time! Until now, obvs.

There's no denying that boyfriend fit jeans are making quite the return to the fashion scene. Bloggers, celebs and the like have been sporting theirs with strappy heels and a statement clutch throughout the summer months. This season, it's all about style and comfort for me (I know these guys don't come hand in hand usually, but I'm going to make them!) When considering what I'd wear with my new BF jeans I thought that I'd keep warm with a colourful (almost neon) jumper, black sleeveless biker jacket and some noiiiice heeled ankle boots. I call this look - casual weekend wear KAPOW!

Pretty much all of these items are from Florence & Fred - also known as F&F - at Tesco, who by the way, are really going places with their new Saint Laurent Paris inspired AW'13 range. I mean, they were featured on the Vogue website. Yes, really. Out of all of the items, the boyfriend fit jeans and ankle boots are my absolute faves. The jeans are so comfortable and have a tiny bit of stretch in them which is ideal (especially after you've consumed a good few takeaways like I have this week - oops). I ordered a size 6 and they are probably the comfiest pair of jeans I own right now, no word of a lie. I can sit in them for hours and not feel like I'm being sliced in half - winner winner chicken dinner. The ankle boots are also super comfy (considering the heel is fairly high) and I could walk around in them ALL day.

I love comfort right now, must be getting old.
What are your thoughts on Boyfriend fit jeans? Would you give them a go?
