Halloween has been and gone, however that's not to say the celebrations stop dead (excuse le pun). Oh no, many of you will be off out to party hard this weekend (and rightly so!). With this in mind I figured I'd share our Halloween outfits from yesterday eve with you guys, just in case you need a bit of last minute inspo!

Halloween costume inspiration Originally I was going to go all out as a skeleton. If you read my #HighStreetHalloween post then you'll have an idea of the outfit I had planned. However I purchased the Missguided jumpsuit and unfortunately it just wasn't very flattering. Let's just say the camel toe would've been enough to scare anyone senseless. So after some careful consideration, I decided that I'd either go as Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas or Audrey Hepperz (but a spooky version).

After trying to obtain a long wig but having no such luck, I decided that Audrey was the best option for me. Luckily I had this LBD from Zara tucked away in the depths of my wardrobe, plus I had some long black gloves and a feathery clutch on hand to really add some pizazz! For the cigarette, I found a cocktail stirrer in the kitchen draw and used a Sharpie pen to colour it black. Then I just put white face paint on the end haha - a basic bit of DIY costume making, but it worked!

The half skull / half normal makeup look was pretty easy to achieve. I started by creating my standard everyday makeup look on one side of my face and then gave myself a white-over on the other side with some powder face paint. Using a combo of liquid eyeliner, pencil eyeliner and black eyeshadow, I managed to create some skeletal shadows across the white side of my face (I used this tutorial for inspo).
