There's something quite refreshing about finding a great new colour combination from your old wardrobe favourites. I recently dug out these coloured jeans, which I'd sniffed out in a Warehouse sale many moons ago, and realised that actually... they go really well with my mint blazer!

I'd also been waiting for the right time to show off this crop top from Missguided (I'm not one for showing midriff) but because of the high waisted cut of the jeans, it felt like the right outfit to do so. Plus, the colour complimented the lilac and mint perfectly - another colour win right there. I love it when that happens.

Last week I was MIA from the blogging world, mainly because last Tuesday was my Grandma's funeral, which was (as you can imagine) incredibly sad. I felt very uninspired and had a serious lack of motivation after that, so I decided to give blogging a rest. It did give me time to have a think about my life though, particularly where I'm going with it all, what do I want to do career-wise, how can I achieve it, where do I want to be in five years time, etc., etc., - how reflective am I?! After all of this reflecting (which by the way, can be quite exhausting) I've come to the conclusion that I deserve a holiday. So, Jack and I are looking at potential trips to Marrakech,  Morocco. If any of you guys have been before or have any places that you'd recommend staying then please link me up!

Finally, I'd like to ask a big favour. A friend of mine and up-and-coming womenswear designer, Nicola Bushell (who by the way, is extremely talented at designing clobber) is hoping for the chance to win a grant from Triumph in the 'Women in the Making' competition. She needs votes, and for you people to see her fabulous work, in order to be in with the chance of winning - and I truly think she deserves to (no bias here, I mean it). Her designs are really cool, very wearable and I think a grant to launch her own fashion label would be a dream come true. SO, the favour... If you could spare two seconds to click here and press V O T E then I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance you lovely bunch xxx
