Christmas is just around the corner and I can't actually cope with the excitement anymore. I've regressed to my five-year-old self and I'm convinced that if I carry on this way I'll totally implode soon. Eek!
Despite excitement-overload, I'm super behind on the Christmas shopping front. And when I say behind, I mean I've bought like three presents. Yep, I've still got a long way to go. This weekend I'm planning on getting my bum into gear and making a fair dent on the xmas present list that I'm yet to make. I find Christmas shopping is so hard to focus on and, often, I don't even know where to begin. It also requires a lot of motivation to go to a shopping centre which you know will be incredibly packed - and in London it's ten times worse. Plus, after all of that, in the back of my mind I'm trying to figure out how I'll get all of the presents back to Telford on the train next weekend. It's a bad back situation waiting to happen.
In other present-related news, I've been very fortunate to have the opportunity to review a pair of UGG slippers over the past few weeks. Despite nearly crying when I thought I'd spilt tea on them (I hadn't, don't worry) I've since come to the conclusion that I don't know how I lived without them before now. Not only are they super comfy and keep my toes incredibly warm, but they also look really cool. Je suis impressed. They sometimes remind me of super stylish oven gloves - albeit on my feet. But I'm totally fine with that.
